Lt. Norman Henry (10 yr. Employee)

After spending only one day as a security guard at Geno’s Restaurant some 30-plus years ago, Lt. Norman Henry probably didn’t think he would one day walk down the security guard road again. He left, and in 1970 embarked on a 28-year career with the Philadelphia Police Department as a police officer. His career with the PPD led him to 25 years of undercover work (wire tapping and surveillance) and three years in a patrol car.

Since double majoring at LaSalle University in Criminology and Sociology, Lt. Henry has held jobs as a limousine driver as well as a bodyguard. With Leysath Security Firm since its inception, Lt. Henry met the President/CEO, Mr. Roger Leysath, at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church where they both served on the board of trustees. Over the years, the firm has grown drastically with the goodness of God and the hard work of dedicated employees like Lt. Henry. When asked what he could see on the horizon for LSF, Lt. Henry said, “I can see nothing but continual growth for the firm. Its commitment to quality service and personnel will make LSF a continuous figure in the security community.”

Having received a well-deserved promotion to Captain, Norman Henry knows that having a fully functional and equipped security team is the first line of defense in maintaining a safe environment. “If the security officers work together as a team, then it makes the police officers and other secondary sources of authority’s job easier. A good security team will make people feel safe.” With the hard economic times upon us, LSF knows that officers like Capt.. Henry are needed to maintain order in an environment that breeds chaos. His efforts are greatly appreciated by LSF; he is a truly invaluable asset to our success!
